Based in the Evergreen Valley of San Jose, California,
the Evergreen Valley Garden Club is
dedicated to a shared interest in "hands on" gardening. The club brings
like-minded women and men together with an avid interest in gardening, and
helps us further our knowledge and practical skills.
The club meets monthly at the Evergreen Library on the 4th Wednesday of each month
from 7 to 9 p.m. The first hour is devoted to a free class on a gardening topic.
The second hour consists of a membership meeting.
In addition, on the 2nd Saturday of each month, members are invited to
field trips consisting of garden tours and visits to nurseries and shows.
Several times each year, the club participates in community beautification projects.
